Chinese herbal medicine is a healing system that has been cultivated and perfected over thousands of year. Rooted in the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), it offers a holistic approach to wellness by harnessing the power of natural herbs and botanicals.
At its core, Chinese herbal medicine seeks to restore harmony and balance within the body. It recognizes that health is not merely the absence of illness, but a state of equilibrium between mind, body and spirit. Through consultation, a personalized formula can be tailored by combining specific herbs to address the root cause of imbalance, rather than merely alleviating symptoms. These herbs are primarily plant-base and available in pills and granules form.
*All herbs are approved by Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA).
A non-invasive treatment to enhances skin health and overall well-being. Rooted in TCM, this technique involves the insertion of fine needles into specific points on the face and body, promoting circulation, stimulating collagen production, and improving the energy (Qi) flow.
Benefit of Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture:
· Reduce wrinkles: encourages collagen production to firm and smooth the skin
· Improves skin radiance: increases blood flow for a healthy, glowing complexion
· Decrease puffiness: enhances lymphatic drainage, reduce puffiness and swelling
· Balance overall wellness: addresses stress and other internal imbalance for enhanced well-being.
Treatment includes facial cupping to promote circulation and guasha to reduce muscle tension and smooth wrinkles.
For best result, we recommended 6 – 8 treatment sessions (weekly) and fortnight monthly maintenance
Gua Sha involves scraping the skin with a smooth-edged instrument (often made of jade, quartz, or other materials) to stimulate blood flow, release tension, and promote healing. The word “gua” means to scrape or rub, and “sha” refers to the red, raised marks (petechiae) that may appear on the skin as a result of the scarping.
Gua sha is believed to help release tension, improve circulation, and promote the flow of qi (vital energy) in the body. It is often used to address issues like muscle pain, tension, inflammation, and stagnation of energy.
In contemporary skincare and beauty routines, facial gua sha has gained significant popularity for its non-invasive, holistic approach. This cherished tradition, steeped in ancient Chinese skincare wisdom, employs gentle strokes and massage techniques on the neck and face. The objective is to improve lymphatic drainage, promote circulation, and relieve facial tension, resulting in a rejuvenated complexion with reduced puffiness, smoother skin texture, and radiant, healthy-looking skin.
Moxibustion is a traditional Chinese medicine therapy that consists of burning a special herb known as mugwort, or Ai Ye (Artemisia argyi), on a particular point of the body. This herb, revered for its therapeutic properties, is carefully prepared and ignited to generate therapeutic warmth. When applied to specific acupuncture points on the body, moxibustion stimulates the flow of vital energy, or "Qi," fostering balance and promoting well-being.
Cupping therapy is a healing technique that involves placing cups on the skin to create a vacuum effect. Historically, cups were crafted from materials like animal horns, bamboo, or clay. Over time, cupping has evolved, with practitioners now using glass and silicone.
During a cupping session, the cups are placed on specific areas of the body and either left in place or moved around to achieve the desired therapeutic effects. In recent years, cupping therapy has experienced a resurgence in popularity, gaining recognition for its potential to relieve muscle tension, improve blood flow, and promote relaxation. Athletes, celebrities, and individuals seeking holistic wellness have turned to cupping as a complementary therapy.
